What volume should I use for grey coverage?

It is suggested to use a minimum of 18 volume developer for grey coverage which will give you up to 2 levels of lift, subsequently you could use 28 volume developer if you needed to achieve up to 3 levels of lift.

What is the mixing ratio if I choose to refresh with Chroma?

It is suggested to use Chroma 6 volume developer at a 1:2 mixing ratio when refreshing lengths and ends.

If my clients hair is resistant how long should I process my client for grey coverage?

We recommend using 40 minutes of exposure time when the starting canvas with resistant canvas.

What is the average processing time of Chroma when I use it for grey coverage and the client’s hair is not resistant?

We recommend 30 minutes of exposure time when the clients hair is not resistant.

5.

How long should I process Chroma as a refresh?

The maximum exposure time is 10 minutes. We recommend visually processing when toning and refreshing lengths and ends.

6.

What is a High Coverage shade?

We have 25 High Coverage shades which can be used independently with out adding a Natural Shade or extra Target Shade to achieve 100% grey coverage

7.

What should my formula be for grey coverage?

When there is 0% - 75% grey present you can use your selected target shade without the use of neutral. 

When there is 75% - 100% it is recommended to use 25% of a Natural Shade with 75% Target shade.

When using a High Coverage shade no Natural Shade needs to be added to the end formula.
