Wendy Bond is frequently referred to as the top downtown colorist in New York City by some of the most discriminating critics in the industry, and she is widely recognized as a leading color educator for professional stylists. Wendy is one of the Board Certified Colorists worldwide and has been a finalist in the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) for Colorist of the Year for several years running. In 2010 Wendy was a NAHA Master Stylist winner.  Wendy has also hosted leading industry shows with her partner/husband, Oscar, such as Hair Color USA. Wendy’s work has been featured on The View and MTV’s Making The Band as well as in Mademoiselle, In Style, Jane, Marie Clare, Self, GQ, Details, YM, Soho Style, Time Out, and Vogue. Wendy is a master colorist who is a technical expert at the chemistry of mixing color. She sets herself apart from other technically brilliant colorists, however, with the connection she is able to make between a client’s vision of what they want and what will look good on them. Wendy is a true artist who is renowned for balancing current trends with a client’s personal style. For over 20 plus years, Wendy has also been one of the leading color educators in the industry. She travels extensively to teach the latest trends in color, corrective color, and color formulation. Her combination of technical excellence, artistic vision, and sensitivity to learning styles has made her one of the most highly sought teachers in the industry. In 2005 Wendy was named Creative Director of L’ANZA Haircare. Recently, Wendy joined DePasquale Companies as the ECRU New York and Lakme USA Director of Education. One of Wendy’s greatest attributes is she still maintains a clientele and works behind the chair two days a week.

Manolo Colmenero Creative Artist A Lakme user for over ten years, Manuel Colmenero was born near southern Barcelona in Spain and is know by most simply as Manolo. As an associate of world renowned Llongueras, he left his native country in 1992 to bring his talents as an international hairstylist and image consultant to the US. market place. Over the past 19 years, Manolo has continued his relationship with Llongueras while establishing his own name and a successful salon business in the fashion and retail center in Dallas, Texas. The many years of working with Llongueras, traveling through Europe, Mexico and the US, have given him a global perspective for the definition of style. Working, teaching and producing hair show that set the trends for the world to follow inspired Manolo to broaden his career vision. Manolo Salons was launched offering a full range of hair and beauty services to its clientele. From Barcelona and Mexico City to Miami and Chicago, Manolo has continued to actively participate in hairdressing events and now has brought his extraordinary talent as Creative Artist to the Lakme USA Educational Team

Arda Itez LAKME USA Guest Artist A 21 year veteran of the beauty industry, Arda Itez has been a trail blazer in the development and growth of LAKME USA throughout the country. Arda’s extensive experience behind the chair specializing in corrective color combined with a career history in film and television, and as Director of Education for ARTec Systems of NJ and NY, make her one of the most dynamic and motivating presenters in the beauty industry. A graduate of DePasquale’s own Artistic Academy, and as the leader of LAKME USA’s Educational Team, Arda’s gratification comes from the heightened success that the LAKME brand brings to distributors and salons throughout the country. Her philosophy is to “educate stylists on how to do better for their clients which in turn allows them to do better for themselves.
